What I affectionately call my Periscope videos that are dedicated to making your life prettier! Who doesn’t love that? My latest installment is how to tie an African headwrap.  It is pretty simple but with creativity your options are limitless. It is great if you are having a bad hair day or want to try a cool protective style. All you need is a piece of fabric and DASSIT! You know I love affordable (bodega) beauty solutions especially on the go.  I was in South Africa during filming and when I tell you this tutorial was so timely. Whew!  Watch the video below for the nitty gritty.

5 That Are Considered Luxury only in NYC (3)

“…Neeeeew Yoooork Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of, There’s Nothing You Can’t Do…” Except find parking.  Although I love this city some things here are considered “high living” when it is standard in other U.S. Cities.  Nu Yawkahs it is time to laugh at ourselves as we look at all the things we don’t have. Here are 5 Things That Are Considered Luxury, Only In NYC.

    2) A Driver’s License

Thankfully I lived in Connecticut during my teen years so I could obtain this elusive scroll by unlocking Narnia and slaying the forbidden dragon known as a road test.
