Summer is coming to a close but that doesn’t mean the party is over. In the beginning of the season I shared my Citrus Sangria recipe and some of you wanted a little bit of red wine awesomeness. Well Ta-DA! Ask and you shall receive. The citrus is good but this version is a berry berry delicious! How to make red wine sangria.

Here is What You Need

  • 2 bottles of red wine (I used cabernet)
  • 1 cup of plain vodka
  • 1 cup of brewed tea (I used Orange Blossom, Random but awesome.)
  • 3/4 simple syrup
  • An array of sliced fruit. Strawberries, red/white grapes, oranges, grapefruit
  • 1/2 oz of bitters
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps

20150703_200000Combine all ingredients into a pitcher cover and refrigerate for 4-8 hours (preferably overnight). Serve on ice and enjoy!
