How To Make A Flower Crown On A Dollar Store Budget

What is the best part of festival season? Besides the actual music it is the fashion. *Whispers*In some cases it is better than the music.

Fringe crop top? Check. Cut off denim shorts? Check. Faux Leather fanny pack? Check. Flower crown…

Ahh you don’t have one? Well let’s change that. I made my own flower crown for less than any store was selling them. Just hit up your local dollar store for flowers and a headband. For the adhesive you can use E6000, hot glue or you can even sew it to your headband, if it is fabric of course.

What you need

  • Faux flowers
  • Headband
  • Hot glue or E6000
  • Scissors or wire cutters

Go to the flower section of your local dollar store and make it rain! I’m just kidding “*like Jason, unless you gon’ do it..” If you want your crown to be one color a medium size bouquet is suffice.

I lucked out and got these headbands that already had holes in them so when I was attaching the flowers they did fit with more ease. That is what makes the dollar store so awesome because you never know what you are going to find.

NOW if you are using a regular headband use your wire cutters or scissors to cut as much of the stem off as possible and hold firmly after applying glue! Cut stems, place on headband, Glue, hold, move (to the next section), repeat. Dassit! Now wear your crown everywhere. Treat yo’ self to something nice with all the money you just saved.
